As we continue to grow our market share in the UK, we are seeking a Human
Resources Manager to develop and build a world-class culture committed to
results, innovation and disruption alongside the Company’s management team. The
successful candidate must be flexible in work location including Edinburgh or Oxford
area.

Day to Day Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead recruitment for all levels of the organization
  • Regulatory standard compliance
  • Maintaining HR records
  • Performance reviews
  • Compensation plans and contracts
  • Provide recommendations to management leveraging data in areas such as employee engagement, retention, and attrition
  • Provide employee relations support in matters including coaching, conflict
    resolution, investigations, and performance management
  • Building out an employer value proposition to consistently recruit candidates
    that match the values and mission of the organization
  • Help steward people and culture practices through attention to recognition
    systems, employee engagement, leadership development, talent diversity,
    and the creation of an inclusive environment
  • Communication and administration of payroll issues, pensions and benefits
    plans
  • Advising management on employment law and employer's policies and
    procedures
  • Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years work experience as an HR manager or equivalent
  • Ability to manage recruitment efforts
  • Demonstrates confidentiality
  • Passion for excellence
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with a solid work ethic, consistently achieving goals and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to demonstrate that you can have a strategic mind as well as roll up your sleeves and get the work done
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ownership of all aspects of the job
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Full Driving License

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • CIPD qualification
  • Ability to secure and manage agencies providing labour
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK
  • Experience working in the construction industry
